There are two main branches and forms of religious witchcraft. Those forms are of Traditional Witchcraft or Witchcraft prior to Gerald Gardner and his works and Wicca or the form of religious witchcraft that started with Gerald Gardner. The common thread between these two schools of thought is the use of witchcraft to worship and experience Gods. They are both Mystery religious practices and are both religions in which belief plays little to no role. What is important here is more then practices rather than the beliefs held by the individual witches.
